Brett Eastburn | Why There Should Be More Websites Like Your Everyday Heroes

Brett thinks there should be more positive news sites out there, as an alternative to the often harsh and disappointing news people see on television.

He has had many news segments produced about his inspirational talks, and when he sees them air on a local news channel, “the only positive thing on the whole episode” was his little bit.

“I know what sells newspapers is the bad stuff,” he conceded. “[They] could mix a whole lot more positive stories in there, and people wouldn’t mind a bit.”

“If we can get just one person to do something better in their life, it was worth all the effort we put into it,” he continued.

Brett can’t even fathom how many people he’s helped through his life and career, “I think it would be too much for my little brain to handle,” he remarked.

“I like to know that I’ve affected some people, just to show me that I’m doing the right thing, but I don’t want to know the amount [I’ve] touched people’s live,” Brett explained.

“I think it would just be too much for me.”
