Daniel O’Rourke: What Does It Mean To Be A Hero?

Daniel O’Rourke explains what a hero is to him: What it means to me to be a hero is to be able to set goals and have the courage to strive to achieve those goals.

In striving to achieve those goals, a hero is going to have to be responsible and delay gratification… So to be able to sacrifice and be able to stay dedicated to maintaining that goal is something that I think is particularly heroic.

Again, we have to jump off from our familiar environment and move into the unknown in order to achieve that goal.
